Snow Day!

Tuesday morning I woke up to snow outside. Tesla and I headed out for our morning walk and to investigate the snow.

Tesla really enjoyed running around in the snow and sniffing it too.

"Ok, I've had enough of the snow. Let's go inside and sit in front of the heater."

Meanwhile, in Beaverton, Madison has found a nice place to rest. Don't tell Tesla.

We had some beautiful weather today so Brandon took Tesla for a nice walk in the park.

Garden Pictures

Due to the wacky weather this year some of our plants didn't do so well. The peppers never grew and most of our basil and tomatoes were eaten by slugs. The hop plants grew pretty well, as did our rosemary and thyme. We also got plenty of small onions to eat.

New Furniture!

Our sofa and love-seat arrived last Friday. We also recently purchased a coffee table and end table. We rounded out our decorations with curtains, a rug, and a piece of wall art. Pictures of all are below.

Party in the Park Car Show

At the park nearby the apartment there was an event today called "Party in the Park", and part of this event was a big car show. I walked to the show to check out the cars, and it was a good opportunity to test out the camera on my new phone. There were a lot of well-maintained and restored classic cars, as well as a few newer models.

New furniture!

The new bedroom furniture and entertainment console arrived on Friday. Combine that with a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond and the bedroom is looking great!
